We believe in a proactive approach to your eye health. We provide eye exams for all ages including children, contact lens fittings, ocular disease management, alongside an optical boutique offering many hard to find frame brands and styles. We also offer a wide selection of frames for kids and sunglasses.
All aspects of Axtell Eye Center are designed to provide the patient with an enjoyable experience that will encourage them to take an active role in managing the health of their eyes.
Dr. William Beck - Axtell Eye Center
Dr. Beck has been a Kansas all of his life. He grew up in a small town, Colby, and has practiced in Newton all of his professional career. He attended the University of Kansas in Lawrence for his undergraduate degree, and then received his doctorate of medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine at Kansas City. After a year’s internship in internal medicine at St. Luke’s hospital he did his residency in Ophthalmology at The University of Kansas. He is board certified in Ophthalmology.
He is married and has three children. His passions other than the delivery of quality eye care include gardening and woodworking.

Dr. Terria Win - Axtell Eye Center
Terria Winn MD Terria is a native Kansas born in Norton, Kansas and raised in Colby. She attended the University of Kansas for her undergraduate degree and then the University of Kansas for Medical School where she graduated in the upper 10% of her class and was initiated into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Medical Society. Her residency in Ophthalmology was completed at Herman Eye Center, University of Texas Health Science Center –Houston, TX She is affiliated with Grene Vision and specializes in small incision cataract surgery using topical anesthesia and the placement of all types of implants including those for correcting astigmatism and presbyopia.
